Advent Sweater English

€10.00

The pattern includes 9 sizes. It has been professionally tech edited and tested.

You can find tutorials on my YouTube Channel to help you make it!

There is also a male version coming very soon!

The Advent Sweater features a classic saddle shoulder construction and is worked seamlessly from the top down, beginning with the saddle shoulders. The shoulders are shaped with short rows for an excellent fit. The yoke is worked flat to the underarms, after which the front and back are joined to work in the round. Designed to be both beginner-friendly and enjoyable to knit, the Advent Sweater combines a straightforward construction with refined details that create a polished, thoughtfully engineered garment. A distinctive feature is the double-layered neckline, which adds warmth while creating a beautiful, architectural detail that frames the neck and enhances the overall design.

The sweater showcases three contrasting colours in a striking, well-balanced arrangement, allowing you to create anything from subtle tonal combinations to bold colour-blocked versions. The original sample is worked with yarns that have slightly different yardages and gauges to create a unique texture and depth, but you can just as easily knit the sweater using a single yarn base for all three colours. The result is a timeless sweater that is both fun to knit and versatile to wear.
